Christmas in Orlando’s Celebration

The majority of the jolly attractions below are located within minutes of each other in the Downtown area, which is developed around Market Street and Front Street.
Snow in Florida
Does it ever snow in Florida?
It does every night at Christmas in Celebration!
Make your way to Market Street on the hour after dark, to witness ‘snowflakes’ fall from the sky.
This dreamy snow globe scene really is the stuff of a Hallmark movie.
The ‘Now Snowing’ event is made possible by fake snow (foam) being pumped out from boxes attached to lamp posts.
Each box has a different festive name.
Market Street Holiday Shopping
Give the credit card a Christmas workout at the independent stores along Market Street.
These shops are packed with festive decorations like Grinch toys and tasteful Christmas scenes.
Why not pick up some holiday gifts, too?
Endless Ice Skating Rink
While Mom is shopping, get the kids working off some energy on the ice!
The Endless Ice Skating Rink takes up half of Market Street and with the Christmas tree in the background.
Skate rental is available at the rink.
Celebration Express Train
Toot toot!
All aboard the Celebration Express for a carriage ride around town.
St. Augustine is another Florida destination big on Christmas with its festive trolleys and Night of Lights event.
Lake Rianhard Winter Walk
Enjoy the Christmas decorations around the stunning Lake Rianhard.
The paved trail also has benches placed around it to allow visitors to sit and appreciate the lush lakeside park.
Sip a Winter Crafty
You’ll be thirsty after all that festive activity!
Order a seasonal craft beer or other alcoholic drinks at the bar and watch sports on the TV at Celebration Town Tavern (721 Front St).
This pub is based on a Boston-style bar and serves chowder and lobster rolls for those who need a New England fix, without having to brace the frigid Massachusetts temperatures!
Celebration Christmas Lights
While NYC has its Dyker Heights decorations, Celebration has Jeater Bend Drive!
This street is lined with houses that go all out for Christmas with lights, motion, and even sound.
It takes around five minutes to drive to Jeater Bend Drive from Market Street.
Residents request that you park your car close by and walk through Jeater Bend; this will give you time to really appreciate the effort.
Keep up to date with the winter schedule here.
Resurrection Chapel
As you enter town, look out for the lights around Resurrection Chapel.
Here you can also attend mass during the festive period.
